FAIRFIELD, Conn. NutriScience Innovations LLC announced the settlement of a lawsuit filed in July 2007 in U.S. District Court, Central District of California, against Hunan Kinglong Bio-Resources Co. Ltd. and its parent company Shanghai Novanat Bioresources Co. Ltd. A statement regarding the settlement was released with the approval of all parties, which notes Hunan Kinglong is delivering written correspondence to parties who earlier received, either by fax, letter, e-mail or other forms of message dissemination of earlier statements and/or averments, that Hunan Kinglong did not have the capability to engage in commercial operation of production/sales of 98% L-theanine by natural extraction from green tea as previously advertised.
