FAIRFIELD, Conn.--NutriScience Innovations will showcase Suntheanine®, a patented form of L-theanine, at SupplySide East. Suntheanine was patented for its use in preventing anxiety arising from caffeine. The product is 100 percent water soluble, stable in pH 3.0 to 6.6 and does not degrade when heated at 121 degrees Celsius for five minutes, making Suntheanine suitable for liquid formulations and beverage applications. NutriScience also announced it is the exclusive supplier of Xantopina® Plus, manufactured by Bioquimex Nutrition. Xantopina is 100 percent lutein ester concentrate extracted from marigold, containing 80 percent lutein esters and 4 percent zeaxanthin. It is also currently the only kosher certified lutein available, according to the company.
