YASOO Receives Patent Notification

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. YASOO Health received notice from the U.S.Patent & Trademark Office that it has allowed the claims filed for itstocopherol ester derivative with selenium and other minerals; the patent shouldbe issued later this year. The application covered 15 health and researchapplications for treatment of cancer, according to YASOO. This approvedpatent and six other pending patent applications underscore our commitment tothe science of good health, said Konstantinos Papas, M.D., medical directorof YASOO (www.yasoo.com).

In addition, YASOO completed a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)grant proposal to develop proprietary formulations to treat malabsorption incystic fibrosis patients. According to Papas, the company will start a Phase Iclinical trial by early spring.
