VISTA, Calif. B&D Nutritional Ingredients will serve as the exclusive distributor for the Golden Chlorella products from South San Francisco-based Solazyme Health Sciences, a business unit of Solazyme Inc. The Golden Chlorella ingredients are ultra-pure, sustainably grown microalgae powders, including Golden Chlorella Omega powder with high levels of omega-3, -6 and -9 oils and dietary fiber, and Golden Chlorella High Protein, which contains 50 percent by weight vegetarian protein plus fiber, essential fatty acids and micronutrients. The ingredients are self-affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) and certified kosher and halal.
