Armadillo Pharmaceuticals Opens Manufacturing Operation

VISALIA, Calif.--Armadillo Pharmaceuticals(www.armadillopharm.com) opened its manufacturing operation here, with the ability to produce a range of products with its Herbal Equalization™ technology. "We are very excited by the opportunity to provide the next generation of herbal medicine to the health products market," said Michael Martin, president. "Now, we are able to put our years of R&D into production."

The concept behind the company's Herbal Equilization technology is to blend active components in optimum ratios rather than standardizing to one compound, Martin said. "In order for a product to retain the activity of the parent material, all of the compounds must be present," he added. "This is the concept behind our Herbal Equilization technology, to remove everything from the plant and then blend the components in the optimum ratios to hit a specific target."
