Contract manufacturers are utilized widely in the dietary supplement industry for their expertise and manufacturing capabilities and capacity, among other reasons. Though these manufacturing partners offer a great resource to brand owners, product integrity and compliance with FDA’s manufacturing regulations ultimately fall to the brand owner, tasking brand owners with the role of managing quality every step of the way during the contract manufacturing process.
