WATSONVILLE, Calif.NSF International certified Nordic Naturals® new LEED-designed corporate headquarters complies as functioning under GMPs (good manufacturing practices) as set forth in NSF/ANSI Standard 173-2008, Dietary Supplements, Section 8. Nordic Naturals' former facility was also GMP certified, however new certification was required when the company moved its headquarters in February of this year. NSF audits businesses every six months in order to maintain their certification.

Additionally, Nordic Naturals' Ultimate Omega® Sport is included in the NSF Certified for Sport® Program, which tests and certifies products comply with current NSF standards, and that athletes can enjoy such product without unknowingly consuming banned or prohibited substances or their metabolites. The NSF Certified for Sport® Program tests and certifies nutritional supplements used by athletes in Major League Baseball, Professional Golf Association, Ladies Professional Golf Association, and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.

Along with its NSF certification, Nordic Naturals' new headquarters is also registered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) project and is slated for LEED Gold certification which recognizes performance in key areas of human and environmental health.
