Galaxy Foods Changes Name

ORLANDO, Fla.--Galaxy Foods Co., www.galaxyfoods.com,has changed its name to Galaxy Nutritional Foods Co. in order to reflect the companymission. The stock symbol, GXY, will remain the same. The new name will be voted on in aJune 20 shareholders meeting, but it is considered a formality, as shareholders havealready unofficially approved the change.

"By changing our name, we more clearly define the company to its customers and tothe financial markets as an organization whose primary focus is the development,production and distribution of healthy, nutritional foods," said chairman and chiefexecutive officer, Angelo Morini.
