IFT to Open Satellite Office in D.C.
WASHINGTON--The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) announced the openingof a satellite office here. The office opened May 1. It is located at 1025Connecticut Ave., N.W., Ste. 507, Washington, DC 20036, just blocks from theWhite House.
Though the office is open, it will not be fully operational until Sept. 1.Fred Shank, IFT vice president of Science Communications and GovernmentRelations, has initiated a search for staff, via a search committee. For moreinformation, visit www.ift.org.
