LifeSource Nutrition Raises $4.8M

RICHMOND, Calif.--LifeSource Nutrition Solutions, a nutritional food company originallyfounded by Age Wave LLC and Monsanto Co., has completed a $4.8 million private placementof Series B preferred stock. Bay City Capital LLC, through its North American Nutritionand Agribusiness Fund, led the placement. LifeSource's product line, which includesformulated nutritional meals, are distributed directly to consumers' homes.
