CARLSBAD, Calif.--In October, Lipoid GmbH of Germany and PSI Precious SmartIngredients, located here, announced a joint venture, Lipoid Inc., also locatedhere. The president and chief executive officer is Peter Rohde, the owner of PSI.This new venture will focus mainly on lecithin and phospholipid products asingredients for nutritional supplements and functional foods.
