NAI to Cut Costs

SAN MARCOS, Calif.--Natural Alternatives International (NAI) announced that,due to the loss of a large customer, it will be cutting costs in several areasby approximately 20 percent. The company in question, Nu Skin Enterprises Inc.,comprised 20 percent of NAI's revenue.

As a result of the loss, NAI cut its workforce by 20 employees (full-time).Several temporary production employees were let go as well.

Company president and chief executive officer, Mark LeDoux, said the companywould make up the revenue by diversifying its customer base.
