NBTY Acquires Rexall Catalog Business

BOHEMIA, N.Y.--NBTY Inc. has acquired Rexall Sundown's vitamin catalog business. Theamount of the agreement has not been disclosed; it closed in mid-April.

Through the acquisition, NBTY increased its customer base by more than 400,000. Thecatalog business includes Rexall's mail order division as well.
