New Zealand Says Deer Antler Velvet is Safe

WELLINGTON, New Zealand--In August, the New Zealand Game Industry Board reviewed the safety of deer antler velvet in dietary supplements and said its review shows the ingredient is safe. The Board considered the information available regarding safety and efficacy, including two studies completed by New Zealand agricultural scientists that measured its efficacy for athletes looking to improve performance.
