Standard Process Awards Third Scholarship

Dietary supplement manufacturer Standard Process Inc. awarded its 2013 Dr. Robert Curry Scholarship to Southern California University (SCU) student Kaylee Shimomura.

PALMYRA, Wis.Dietary supplement manufacturer Standard Process Inc. awarded its 2013 Dr. Robert Curry Scholarship to Southern California University (SCU) student Kaylee Shimomura. The company gives the annual scholarship to inspire SCU students to study nutrition and pursue integrative health care.

Shimomura, a chiropractic student in her eighth trimester, said she plans to practice in her hometown of Kula, HI. She is the third student to win the scholarship, which requires a grade point average above 2.9. The award is named for Curry, a Southern California chiropractor and SCU alumnus. According to Standard Process, Curry educated his health professional peers on the role of whole food nutrition in health.
