9 out of 10 Amazon galantamine memory “supplements” failed to meet label claim –  article

In research published in the journal JAMA Network that called for stronger FDA enforcement mechanisms, industry critic Pieter Cohen, M.D. found that some of the galantamine products marketed as memory supplements and sold for Alzheimer’s care are vastly understrength. The Council for Responsible Nutrition noted that galantamine, an FDA-approved drug, “is not and never has been a legal supplement ingredient.” Read more here.
