BioProgress Licenses XGel Film

ATLANTA--BioProgress Technology Int'l.[www.bioprogress.com] sold a full license of its trademarked XGel Film System to U.K.-based Peter Black Healthcare Limited(PBHL), a subsidiary of Peter Black Holdings. PBHL is a supplier of private label vitamin, mineral andherbal supplements.

The license gives PBHL exclusive use of the XGel Film System, a plant-based, non-gelatin film system for softgel capsules, which it will use to produce and sell its supplement products, as well as the non-prescription medicines it produces. According to Barry Muncaster, BioProgress chairman and chief executive officer, this will be the first of many licenses.

"For eighteen months we have worked very closely with senior staff at PBHL. Their assistance and guidance has been an invaluable resource to assist BioProgress in preparing the XGel Film System for commercialization," he said. "We hope this is the first sale of many such licenses to PBHL and we very much look forward to continuing and developing our close relationship in the years to come."
