ST. LOUISAlpha Packaging,manufacturers of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles and jars fornutritional supplement, pharmaceutical and personal care products, introduced anew line of HDPE packers. The new line has a B-Line body style popularwith vitamin and nutritional supplement manufacturers, according to Alpha (www.alphaplastics.com), and was developed in response to the growing need forstraight-sided wide-mouth packers with different dimensions than Alpha currentlymakes. They have eight sizes, ranging from 60cc to 300cc; closures are soldseparately.

Alpha has also added three new sizes of polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) wide-mouth jars to its line of jars for personal careproducts. They were developed in response to customers who want the look ofglass jars but the benefits of PET, according to Alpha. Closures for the jarsare also sold separately.
