Clean Catechins from Novanat
SHANGHAITraditionally,catechins have been extracted using solvents, the most popular of whichethylacetateis harmful to human health. Many methods have been applied to removethis solvent, but none can remove it totally from the extraction process. Novanat has developed a new extraction method that uses noethyl acetate, resulting in no residual solvent. Additionally, caffeine contentcan be reduced to less than 0.1 ppm and EGCG content can be raised to greaterthan 60 percent.
