Capsimax Wins NBT Most Innovative Ingredient Award

SHORT HILLS, N.J.OmniActive Health Technologies received the Nutraceutical Business & Technology (NBT) Most Innovative Ingredient award for its hot red pepper extract, Capsimax at Vitafoods. OmniActive was recognized for the breakthrough technology employed to create Capsimax, which allows for the delivery of the active component in hot red peppers, capsaicinoids, without oral and gastric irritation.

The Most Innovative Ingredient award was presented by NBT, a international business-to- business magazine, at the inaugural NBT Awards dinner held on May 11 in conjunction with Vitafoods in Geneva, Switzerland.
