Gamma Pharmaceuticals, Evander Holyfield Form Joint Venture

LAS VEGAS Gamma Pharmaceuticals Inc. formed a joint venture company with Evander Holyfield, the four-time Boxing World Heavyweight Champion; the company originally announced the agreement in principle with Holyfield in October 2009. The company, Holyfield Choice, will formulate and market a line of vitamins and nutritional products, with four product lines and seven SKUs set for launch. Under terms of the joint venture, Gamma will consolidate the Holyfield Choice performance into its financials.

Holyfield commented: For several years I have searched for a partner to help me commercialize products that I know will work because I use the formulations and I live the program. Holyfield Choice represents the real Evander Holyfield and my personal expertise and passion for fitness.

The company also announced plans to launch the Holyfield Challenge, a national fitness and health program aimed at secondary education and college students. The Holyfield Choice products, which will be sold through a variety of distribution channels, will be a key element of the program.
