PacificHealth Extends UK Reach

MATAWAN, N.J.PacificHealth Laboratories Inc. (PHLI) partnered with Saddleback Ltd. to distribute ACCELERADE products to the cycle sport industry in the United Kingdom, with the goal of positioning ACCELERADE as the nutrition brand of choice among specialty retailers in the triathlon and cycling sectors. Saddleback Ltd. will distribute PacificHealths full product range in the United Kingdom, including ACCELERADE sports drink, ACCEL GEL products, and ENDUROX® R4® recovery drinks.

Fred Duffner, president, PHLI, said, Since the introduction of PHLI to the UK in 2009, we have been focused on endurance athletes and premier dealers who support them. We are partnered with a number of these athletes who have now become our brand ambassadors. The goal was to first establish the brand with its core audience; then work with Saddleback Ltd. to provide first class service to dealers. The timing is perfect to partner with Saddleback Ltd. to cement our commitment to the UK at the beginning of the 2010 season and continue to build upon the momentum there as we have in the United States.
