PacificHealth Labs Tapping into Former CEO

MATAWAN, N.J.PacificHealth Laboratories signed a consulting agreement with Signal Nutrition LLC, a research and development company headed by Robert Portman, former CEO of PacificHealth Labs. The agreement is for six months, with an option to renew for an additional six months.

According to Fred Duffner, president of PacificHealth Labs, the company is aiming to focus on its core business of sports nutrition, and needs some expertise to take advantage of growth opportunities. Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in assisting PacificHealth Labs address its core needs in the area of science and the development of new products," Duffner said. The company has not provided new innovation under its sports nutrition umbrella in over three years. There is new science in the category that we need to stay ahead of to ensure we continue to bring leadership to the category."
