Vitafort Introduces Energy Bar

LOS ANGELES--Vitafort International Corp. released its "Gravity GamesEnergy Bar" at the January Gravity Winter Games held at Mammoth Mountain,Calif.

Visionary Brands, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vitafort, has begun thedistribution of the bars, which come in chocolate peanut and chocolate fudgeflavors.

The bars are targeted to the 12 to 24-year-olds market. "The Gravity Barwill fill a void in the category that exists today with younger consumers ofenergy bars," said John Coppolino, president of Visionary Brands anddirector of Hollywood Partners.com, which has partnered with Vitafort in thisventure. "We feel that the majority of the products in this category do notmeet the taste profiles of younger consumers. Our team set out to develop anutritious bar that tastes more like a candy bar."
