AlphaSize® Now GRAS Affirmed

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn.Chemi Nutra announced its AlphaSize® A-GPC (alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline) was self affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) following a scientific review by an independent expert panel. The affirmation will allow the inclusion of A-GPC in a wide range of conventional foods and beverages. Studies have shown A-GPC is a natural and rapidly absorbed form of choline, as well as a precursor to acetylcholine, the bodys primary neurotransmitter. In addition, trials using AlphaSize A-GPC have shown its ability to improve mental clarity and improve muscular strength and power.
