Beneo Launches Three Products at HiE

MADRID, SpainBeneo announced it will introduce three products at Hi Europe (HiE), being held Nov. 16-18 in Madrid. The launches include natural solutions for sugar replacement, BeneoPro VWG vital wheat gluten, and Orafti®L58 Organic fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS).
Beneos natural solutions for sugar replacement offer well-balanced combinations of agglomerated grades of Beneos naturally-derived bulk sweeteners: isomalt, Palatinose, inulin and oligofructose, as well as stevia. The new solutions can be individually composed and offer good dispersibility, quick dissolution, low hygroscopicity and uniformity, as well as improved structure for food processing. The natural solutions for sugar replacement are available in tablet or powder form.
Beneo will also launch BeneoPro VWG, vital wheat gluten that Improves dough strength, viscoelasticity and water absorption in bread and pastry; increases crispiness and shelf life of batters; improves flake strength in cereals and reduces risk of breakages; provides higher resistance to overcooking in pasta; and is useful as a protein binder in sausages and other meat emulsified products.
At HiE, Beneo will also introduce liquid organic fructo-oligosaccharide, Orafti®L58 Organic, which has gained National Organic Program certification for marketing in the United States, and is in the final stages of the organic certification process for the EU market. Produced from organic sugar, Orafti L58 Organic can be used as a prebiotic fiber to promote good digestive health, as well as a sugar replacer in various dairy, bakery and cereal applications.
