CRN, NCN, Rousselot Introduce Upcoming Industry Events

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) and the Nutritional Capital Network (NCN) announced events offering legal and business opportunities, while Rousselot has been deemed a supporter of an annual osteoporosis day.

CRN's Steve Mister, president and chief financial officer, will co-chair the third annual Legal Regulatory and Compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements with Scott Bass, partner Sidley & Austin LLP, in New York City, June 24 and 25, 2015. Mister’s legal expertise complements his in-depth knowledge of dietary supplement regulation and his experience as an advocate for the industry before Congress, FDA and state legislatures. Bass heads Sidley Austin’s global Life Sciences team, coordinating pharmaceutical, medical device, food and dietary supplement matters in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has also counseled clients on compliance to the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) for the past 20 years.

Meanwhile, NCN, an organization connecting nutrition, health and wellness, natural, organic and green product companies with investors, is accepting applications for its May 19, 2015 investor meeting at The Harvard Club of New York City, which will feature brief presentations by qualified companies, opportunities for individual meetings and informal networking. The NCN XVI application process is free; however, successful applicants who present at the meeting pay a fee of USD $1,500, which includes attendance for two registrants and coaching by NCN Principals. Companies are invited to apply online.  The extended deadline for applications is April 6, 2015.
