NatureMost Resolves FDA Letter

MIDDLETOWN, Conn.NatureMostof New England Inc. (dba NatureMost Laboratories Inc. and Trigo LaboratoriesInc.) notified INSIDER in mid-September that it cleared up its Aug. 9,2002, warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in late 2002.In the letter, FDA reported the companys Calm Focus product was in violationof the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, because its brochure cited it couldhelp with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and cardiovasculardisease. The company complied with FDAs labeling guidelines, and in November2002 received FDA approval that Calm Focus met the agencys labelingstandards.
