SUPERIOR, Ariz.--Omya Inc. has registered itsArizona facility with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as an activepharmaceutical ingredient supplier. The company is a producer of natural groundcalcium carbonate; the Arizona plant produces USP- and food-grade naturalcalcium carbonate, and is kosher and American Institute of Baking (AIB)certified. Its OMYA-CAL ingredient meets the requirements of California Prop 65lead levels.
