The GRAS (generally recognized as safe) ingredient contains carnosic acid and carnosol, as well as several flavones such as diosmin, diometin, hispiulin and apigenin. It is available as Rosemary Extract CA 20% total diterpenic compounds and Rosemary Extract RO 6% minimum rosmarinic acid, both of which are oil- and water-soluble. P.L. Thomas is also offering Ultra Guar, a concentrated gum with very high viscosity. The polymer reaches approximately 5,000 cps in two minutes, and offers rapid hydration in both hot and cold aqueous solutions.

The high concentration means less product is necessary in production.

Finally, the company has a line of water-soluble minerals, as the exclusive North American distributor for Global Calcium Ltd. in Bangalore, India. Among the offerings are GLOCAL brand calcium lactate gluconate and new magnesium lactate gluconate. The ingredients are 100-percent water-soluble and clear in solution, and are GRAS and kosher.
