Sabinsa Ingredients Certified by NSF

PISCATAWAY, N.J.Sabinsa Corp.announced it received certification from NSF International for several of itsingredients including Gugulipid® 40 mesh 2.5 percent extract; Curcumin C3Complex®; Tribulus terrestris 20 percent extract; Indole-3-Carbinol; andTriphala extract. The ingredients underwent toxicology review and purity testingfor contaminants, and Sabinsas manufacturing facilities were audited toensure adherence to NSFs GMP (good manufacturing practice) standards.

As the FDA continues to tighten regulations surroundingdietary supplement ingredients, we felt it was important to take a proactivestance and work directly with an independent third party, and in cooperationwith our customers, to ensure our ingredients comply to the highest industrysafety standards, said Todd Norton, president of Sabinsa (www.sabinsa.com).We voluntarily submitted these products for NSF certification and ourmanufacturers can be assured that they are free of any impurities andcontaminants that may be potentially harmful to consumers.
