VIRGO Launches the SupplySide Store

PHOENIXVIRGO launched the SupplySide Store, the worlds on-demand market for insight and education for the food & beverage, dietary supplements and personal care industries.

The SupplySide Store provides our audience a new way to access premium content and information," said Jon Benninger, vice president of business development in VIRGO's Health & Nutrition Network. The store will offer products covering a wide range of topics in educational videos from our SupplySide events, industry reports, regulatory and compliance training, trends and strategy, research and development and more."

The SupplySide Store launched with 11 videos covering topics including the new dietary ingredients (NDI) draft guidance, nutrition industry trends, healthy aging, botanical dietary supplements, claims strategies, working with contract manufacturers, the impact of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) on dietary supplements, anti-aging skin care, and industry advertising.

The educational sessions feature well-respected speakers and moderators including Sharon Gerdes, U.S. Dairy Export Council; Joseph Betz, National Institutes of Health; Jay Udani, M.D., Medicus Research; David Del Pozo, The Coca-Cola Co.; Michael Hammer, PepsiCo; Sharrann Simmons, Silliker Inc.; Bradford Williams, FDA; Elizabeth Sloan, Ph.D., Sloan Trends; John Gay, Natural Products Association (NPA); and Steven Mister, Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN).

Visitors to the SupplySide Store can browse the available video selections, read a brief summary about the video content, view a short preview, and purchase the video through VIRGOs secure check out. Once a video has been purchased for viewing, a user has unlimited access to return to the Store and view the video.

VIRGO plans to expand the sites offering with additional educational videos, VIRGO-produced training presentations, PDF reports and audio reports.
