Cortex Scientific Botanicals Starts Operations

OJAI, Calif.BotanicaBioScience Corp. formed a new division, Cortex Scientific Botanicals(www.cortexscientific.com), specializing in the development and processing ofbotanical ingredients and formulas for the dietary supplement, cosmetic andfunctional foods areas. Botanica has three laboratories in Beijing, two of whichare part of PhytoMedical Research Inc (PRI), a joint venture company establishedin 1995 by Botanica BioScience and the China National Corp. of Traditional andHerbal Medicine (CNC).
