Iranex Groupe Releases Growth Goals

ROUEN, FranceIranex Group released its strategic objectives for the next five years, aiming for 40 percent growth between organic growth and expansion of external operations. As a starting point, the company established a new scientific and regulatory department, which has the goal of launching two new products annually with responsibility for submitting claims dossiers.

Stephane Dondian, CEO and managing director, recently increased his shareholding to almost 76 percent of Iranex Groupe. The companys annual sales are around 70 million Euros (US$93.4 million), and it encompasses five companies: Colloides Naturels International (CNI), a supplier of natural gums and colloids; Bio Serae Laboratories, a supplier of nutraceutical ingredients; Starlight Products, which sources botanicals, lipids and other ingredients for the food, pharma and cosmetics industries; NutriProcess, focusing on spray drying, encapsulation and agglomeration services for the food and feed markets; and Afritec.

Dondain commented, Our objective is to strengthen the synergies between our companies, which all have the same common goal: to develop and market innovative active ingredients, while preserving their sustainable plant origin. We are now entering a new growth cycle, based on increased industrial investments, research program developments and new diversification projects. Our objective is to build a sustainable future, to reinforce our position among the world leaders of food and nutraceuticals ingredients, and to reach a turnover of 100 million Euros by 2015.
