NutraLease Receives Innovation Award

MISHOR ADUMIN, IsraelNutraLeaseLtd. received the Most Innovative Israeli Nanotechnology Companies award fromthe U.S.-Israeli Science and Technology Foundation. Two of the companys principals, Nissim Garti and EliPinthus, also presented at the 4th annual NanoBusiness Conference, held in NewYork in May.

NutraLease has developed and applies patent-pending technologyto produce micelles, structured liquid particles with a diameter of 30nanometers or less, that can increase the bioavailability of the phytonutrientsthey cover. The technology is used in the nutraceutical, food and cosmeticsindustries in both water- or oil-based systems. Pinthus, the companysmarketing director, is scheduled to present a paper (New beverages containingCoQ10 in nano-sized vehicles) at the IFT Food Expo on Monday, July 18, at11:15 a.m. Morristown, N.J.-based P.L.
