Shionogi Enhances Capsule Offerings

WHITSETT,N.C.Shionogi Qualicaps announced several enhancements to its capsuleportfolio. First, it received an additional drug master file (DMF) code forCanada, adding the registration to its existing U.S. DMF registration forQuali-V capsules. Second, Shionogis manufacturing site in Spain validatedthe HPMC capsule making process and is now shipping product, extending Shionogisability to fulfill customer needs. Finally, Quali-V is now available inadditional sizes, including 0-elongated and size 4. The capsules are availablein three grades: QV (pharmaceutical), QV-N (nutritional) and QV-I (inhalation).
