Customers Cite Benefits of Danisco Sweeteners

ELMSFORD, N.Y.—Customers of Danisco’s Litesse® polydextrose and Lacitol sweeteners indicated several favorable attributes of the products in a recent telephone survey. Danisco’s products are considered more neutral tasting, have low glycemic indices, are good low calorie fillers for chewable tablets, and work well in chocolate applications. Litesse was recognized most frequently for being low calorie, a reliable sugar replacement, and good source of dietary fiber.
