ADM Vitamin E Sales Up After Marketing Campaign

CHICAGO--A high-profile, in-store promotional test marketing campaign herefor ADM Nutraceuticals' natural-source vitamin E has resulted in a 20-percentincrease in volume sales, according to the company. The campaign was designed toincrease consumer awareness of vitamin E as well as the differences betweennatural-source and synthetic vitamin E.

ADM Nutraceuticals worked with Walgreens and GNC stores to launch thecampaign last summer. Promotional activity included in-store POS material,information leaflets and details of the consumer Web site www.d-alpha.com.ADM said it will roll out the campaign nationally later this year.
