Albion Minerals’ facility in Clearfield, Utah, caught fire on Monday, according to Good4Utah.com. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Albion Facility Destroyed by Fire

Albion Minerals’ facility in Clearfield, Utah, caught fire on Monday, according to Good4Utah.com. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fox13 reported the North Davis Fire District considers the facility “a total loss," and estimated $5 million in damages. The fire caused approximately 1,900 business to lose power on Monday, Fox13 reported. 

According to Good4Utah.com, Mark Sessions, spokesman for the North Davis Fire District, said the 12 employees inside were able to exit the building safely.

Albion Minerals was acquired by Balchem Corporation in February.
