DiCOM A100 directly compressible calcium carbonate workswell for chewable calcium supplements and other confectionary applications.

DiCOM A100 provides optimum compressability, excellent flowproperties and blend uniformity, according to the company. It is 98 percentcalcium carbonate, low lead and requires minimal binders or additives. DiCOMA100 also meets USP and FCC requirements.

Specialty Minerals second product is ViCALity® AlbafilPrecipitated Calcium Carbonate. ViCALity Albafil PCC imparts smooth texture andtaste benefits to foods and beverages such as ice cream, frozen yogurt,chocolate milk, soy milks, liquid meal supplements and infant formulas.

The small particle size of 0.7 microns provides goodsuspension, minimizing the settling often inherent in fortified beverages.
