BETHLEHEM, Pa.--Specialty Minerals unveiled a new name for its line of calcium carbonates: ViCALity™ Precipitated Calcium Carbonates(PCC). ViCALity PCCs is a family of low-lead calcium carbonates that are intended for use in the food, pharmaceutical, nutritional, personal care and medical rubber good industries.
ViCALity PCC products contain fewer than 500 parts per billion lead with 99 percent confidence, so the products adhere to the regulations set by California Proposition 65 for calcium supplements.
