Vitamin Angels Expands Program

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--Vitamin Angel Alliance announced it is working with the Franconia Mennonite Conference to provide Franconia's deworming medicine (Albendazole) to children receiving vitamin A supplements through Vitamin Angels. Between the donation by the organization and money contributed by individuals and companies, more than 320,000 Albendazole tablets are being shipped, which is enough to keep 160,000 children free of worms for a year. Vitamin Angels thanked Natrol, Montecito Health Food, Fruitful Yield and other individual supporters for assisting this project.

Vitamin Angels (www.vitaminangel.org) added that it is assisting relief workers at Ground Zero in New York, with special support from Reviva Labs and Quantum Inc. It also is continuing its prenatal program and recognized Rainbow Light for its major ongoing support of the prenatal program and Hyland's Standard Homeopathic for its contribution of homeopathic products.
