PISCATAWAY, N.J.Results of a12-week study conducted at the Shri C.B. Patel Research Center for Chemistry andBiological Sciences in Mumbai, India, suggest Sabinsa Corp.s ForsLeanpositively impacts weight loss and lean body mass in obese persons. The doubleblind, randomized study included 60 obese men and women with a body mass index(BMI) between 28 and 40 and/or a body fat concentration above 30 percent in menand 40 percent in women. Participants received 250 mg of ForsLean twice daily ora placebo.

Subjects receiving ForsLean (www.forslean.com) lost an averageof 3.81 pounds compared to less than 0.5 pounds in the placebo group. Inaddition, placebo group members gained 0.68 percent body fat, while the ForsLeansubjects lost 0.46 percent body fat. The researchers reported no subjective orobjective side effects in either group.
