LA PRAIRIE, QuebecSanteNaturelle entered a collaboration agreement with Lacey, Wash.-based UnigenPharmaceuticals (www.unigenpharma.com) to produce and commercialize a naturalweight loss product using Unigens DiAfin ingredient. Sante Naturelle willincorporate DiAfin into its Metabolix® dietary supplement.
Unigen carried out a human clinical trial using the Metabolixformula with DiAfin on 60 participants. According to Unigen, 250 mg/d taken for90 days produced significant weight loss in the participants.
