Captive Plastics Acquires Stull Technologies

PISCATAWAY, N.J.-Captive Plastics Inc. announced in early February that ithad signed a letter of intent to purchase the assets of Stull Technologies inSomerset, N.J. Terms were not disclosed, but the transaction was expected toclose by late March.
Stull Technology produces container closures for the personal care, food, healthcare and household chemical markets. "The acquisition of Stull Technologyfits perfectly with our strategy of producing packaging solutions, both bottlesand closures, allowing our customers one-stop shopping for all of their productpackaging requirements," said John Raymonds, chairman and chief executiveofficer of Captive Plastics.
The company also announced that it added a Controlled Environment ProductionArea (CEPA) room to its Phillipsburg, N.J., facility. The CEPA room is equippedwith drop ceilings, epoxy-sealed floors and an airflow system that changes theair in the room 72 times per hour.
