Klöckner Pentaplast Appoints President, Promotes Three
GORDONSVILLE, Va.--Ingo Mesterheide has been appointed president of Clearwater, Fla.-based Klöckner Medipak, a supplier of blister packaging equipment for pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostic products. He succeeds Dirk Briskorn, who plans to continue his services as member of the board and managing director of Klöckner Medipak, GmbH. Prior to taking the position with Klöckner, Mesterheide was the vice president of IWM Automation in Hannover, Germany. Mesterheide is now based full-time in Florida.
In addition, Michael Ryan was promoted to the position of marketing manager, and he is now responsible for marketing all of Klöckner's rigid film product lines in North and South America. Ryan has been with Klöckner since 1992. Kevin Carter was appointed to serve as market development specialist for pharmaceutical packaging. Carter, who has been an employee of Klöckner for ten years, is now responsible for new pharmaceutical film product development, technical customer support, and supervising the company's Packaging Technology Center. Michael Tubridy has been promoted from vice president of sales and marketing to executive vice president. Tubridy, who has been with the company since 1994, is responsible for sales and marketing of all the company's rigid film product lines in North and South America.
