VANCOUVER, Wash.--Pacific Nutritional announced the appointment of Michael Schaeffer to chief operating officer (COO). Utilizing his more than 12 years of experience in the health and nutrition industry, Schaeffer will maintain good manufacturing practices and quality assurance programs and focus on expanding the sales of custom contract manufacturing and packaging services. Prior to taking the job with Pacific Nutritional, Schaeffer worked for NF Formulas Inc., an Integrative Therapeutics Inc. company, in developing the manufacturing facility, product formulations and contract business.
