SoftPac Refocuses Company Strategy

PLYMOUTH, Minn.--SoftPac Industries Inc., formerly known as AdvancedNutritionals Corp., has changed its name, installed a new management team andrefocused its corporate strategy. "In order to meet the overwhelmingcustomer demand for our contract filling and pouch making capabilities, we haverefocused our efforts, expanded our resources and realigned ourleadership," said company founder Robert Jones.

According to Jones, the name change reflects a change from a sports nutritionbeverage company to a contract packaging company. Management team membersinclude David Koch, chairman of the board, who is principal shareholder of thecompany; Bill Howard, chief executive officer, president and treasurer; HennoHenson, director of research, development and technology; Robert Jones, directorof business development; John Dennis, director of operations; Sean Lawler,controller; and Maggie Springer, vice president marketing and investorrelations.
