Ai/E10® Supports NK Cells

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.The December 2009 peerreviewed scientific Chinese Journal of Disease Control & Prevention published the findings of Quantum Research Inc.s study of the dietary ingredient Ai/E10®s ability to support natural killer (NK) cell activity in healthy humans and contribute to an overall improvement in health and wellbeing. Titled A Study of the Effects of Oral Dietary Supplementation of Ai/E10 Upon Natural Killer Cell Activity in a Healthy Human Population, the study validates Ai/E¹⁰s ability to provide consistent and continual support to immunity in healthy individuals and is supported by measurements of NK cell activity via lytic units and questionnaires regarding the incidence of health related symptoms.

Participants, average age 43, were monitored more than 90 days for changes in NK cell activity as well as their responses to a symptom evaluation general health questionnaire. The study demonstrated a statistically relevant positive relationship between the oral consumption of Ai/E¹⁰ and increases in NK cell activity and the reported reduction of general health symptoms without the support of additional nutritional supplementation, medication or lifestyle alterations. As NK cell activity is associated with immune system health, Ai/E¹⁰ can be an important and significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of healthy people.
