Fenchem Launches New R&D Center

NANJING, ChinaFenchem will establish a new research and development (R&D) center in its expanded Nanjing, China, laboratory to conduct new products research. The new center will be staffed by a team of 15 researchers dedicated to new product development and product assessment, and will be expanded stepwise in 2011. Also housed at the new lab will be Fenchems new cosmetic divisions cosmetic formulator.

Fenchems quality control (QC) and R&D center were founded in 1999, focusing on QC for products, new formulation and new tech development for contract manufacturing. In recent years, the company continued growth in nutrition and food ingredients, and also expanded into the cosmetic and feed ingredients fields. This year its feed division developed new feed ingredient formulations, including Fenti-O2TM Antioxidant system, TOCOVET® Natural Vitamin E and FenMixTM Premix that were showed at VIV China 2010.

In a pres release, the company noted, With a lot of new projects and a series of formulation products launched, we must expand our laboratory and establish a new R&D center for this expansion."
